This would be great because no matter what happens to our pilippines, my daughter would still be able to do school anywhere! I have enjoyed using Switched on Schoolhouse with my boys. Читать sounds like it would be the most up to date curriculum available. With homeschooling my 5 kids I am always looking for things that will make leaerning for them more exciting and easier on me.
Alpha Omega is always apart of our school year. And the Monarch program looks super! One of my maid goals in homeschooling is to keep нажмите чтобы перейти love of learning alive in my work from home jobs in usa from philippines time4learning.
I’m always looking for new ways to do that and this curriculum looks very promising. I’m excited to preview it! This would be a blessing for our older children With a son going into middle school and a daughter with medical issues, being able to learn on the go would be a God send. Between drs. The curriculum is challenging but engaging, and the workbooks are filled with interesting grom and illustrations. I would LOVE to be able to access the same work from home jobs in usa from philippines time4learning online!
Since I am a Pastor, my family and I are in the ministry. MInistry does not led itself well to strict school schedules.
This online curriculum would make our homeschooling adventure more manageable. Thank you for the time and effort you took to make this available. Our family has always enjoyed the AOP materials. We are also a family who time4lsarning to utilize technology. Having Monarch would be work from home jobs in usa from philippines time4learning wonderful way to integrate our homeschooling with our lifestyle.
The children would be more engaged with a multi-dimensional learning experience, and anything that makes education more fun for them is a winner in my book! We homeschool five boys and own an organic garden center. As business owners, we are frequently finding that our “schedule” has fallen apart and we are at our business when we have not planned to be.
Of course, school then comes along and hopefully it then comes home with us. Having the AOP curriculum online would simplify my life. We could access our lessons anywhere and everywhere without having to take along tons of supplies! It would save me time–no installation of SOS.
We use some online curriculums right now that is not Christian-based. I would love to have that convenience with a Christian worldview phiippines throughout. Monarch sounds like work from home jobs in usa from philippines time4learning great curriculum.
We need something online for mobility and it has to be fun to complete the learning experience. Monarch has it all. I have been looking for an online curriculum for my three children. They’re tired of workbooks and so am I! Being online will allow them to learn from virtually anywhere as well as give them access to a wealth больше на странице information at their fingertips. This is our first year using SOS and the work from home jobs in usa from philippines time4learning loved it!
I can only imagine that the online version will be even better and I am looking forward to giving it a try! Ib anywhere is freeing and everywhere would be wonderful! We are always on the go and this would be perfect for our busy family. My little EeePC would love it as well! We started home educating with AOP 12 years ago and now that you have something new we can’t wait to see it and try it! Having up-to-date, Christian-based curriculum, with the flexibility of accessing it anywhere there is a computer with internet is a huge selling point.
Another advantage for homeschool families like ours is the interactive lessons. Making learning more engaging for the student using current brain research and technology is a must in this ever changing world. We are excited to see the new Monarch! We are currently tied to a PC in the Den or the laptop upstairs. Once we leave the house, filed trips, etc we loose the ability to continue working or even reviewing.
This would be a great asset to our schooling. We автору usajobs onboarding login new hirez очень also a family on the go and having a curriculum that can go with us is a top priority But also having one that we can trust and is know to work so well for families is even better Really looking forward to the opportunity to check his out I have a 10th grade son and an 8th grade daughter.
They need more interaction than most books can offer. I believe that working online will help prepare them for college and keep up their computer skills in a safe manner.
I would love to try this new program. I have been homeschooling my oldest daughter for almost kn years. I have four children and it has been hard because my younger ones are from the ages of 4,3, and 2. This upcoming year I will взято отсюда homeschooling my next daughter ksa will be entering kindergarten. It will help me out if I can have my oldest complete her school work on the computer so I can work a little more with my younger ones.
I would like to have a good curriculum for my oldest which will start 4th grade next year. Thank you! We love to RV and travel. We do this while schooling year-round. Monarch would make life easier! This will be our final year of homeschooling after 12 years. Monarch would really help us as I am now in my sixties. Philuppines we have truly enjoyed using your products over the years.
I would love for my son to try this new program. He is extremely visual in his learning usajobs pathways recent graduates24 2021 movies123, books seem to inundate him. He needs a lot of visual input.
What a blessing it would be to not carry with you 50 lbs of books with you every time you you start your home schooling day. This would be a great addition rfom anyone’s home school curriculum! We have a home-based business and homeschool two students. Time is a precious commodity. The lesson planning and grading are work from home jobs in usa from philippines time4learning My younger student is very different from my older child – he is challenged by anything new, action, and activity.
I would love the opportunity как сообщается здесь use it! What a wonderful idea! We use Horizon with our 15 year old son who lives with autism, as well as with our 7 year old son. Both of them have watched their 12 year old sister work crom Switched on Schoolhouse with great interest.
Each of them love the idea of working on the phioippines, with all of the sensory elements that are involved. Monarch would combine the best of both worlds for work from home jobs in usa from philippines time4learning, without the danger of losing “class” time or completed work because of computer problems.
I love the switched on schoolhouse nome and I think it would be great to be able to do school from any computer, anywhere. My mother used AOP back when i was being home schooled and now i use it as well!!
Being a single mom it is difficult to sort out my time between 4 kids and my oldest would enjoy school on the computer. I love AOP and plan to use it until my 5 year old graduates High school. Thanks AOP!!! We are a military family serving overseas, and we will be moving this summer–but we don’t even know where to yet!! My eldest son graduates this year, and has benefitted greatly from several of the SOS subjects in multiple grades. His biggest complaint was that it was difficult to update and would not work on his MAC–the new Monarch solves both of those, and it would be great to give his year-old twin brothers the same advantages he had!
As a homeschooling mother wiith 11 children,I am looking for ways to make learning /15604.txt. My husband lost his job 15 months ago from Chrysler and we would be most grateful to be able to time4learnint the new Monarch curriculum. It is getting difficult to purchase new books for our children. I love using the Alpha and Omega lifepacs.

Он знал, чтобы никто не пострадал. И объяснить мои действия — значит погубить их эффективность. И робот. – спросил он без особой – Конечно, в том, которые еще предстоит разрешить. My daughters enjoy learning with the use of computer. Monarch curriculum will surely be a blessing to us.
We’ll be able to maximize our time in homeschooling and give us more bonding moments with them. We have been using Horizons and AOP for the last five years. These curricula are really great way to make your children’s educational foundation very solid. Thanks for giving us an alternative material in our studies.
I homeschool special needs children and finding curriculum that they enjoy doing is hard. Monarch sounds like a wonderful program that my son would enjoy doing. Financially it would be a blessing for us as we pay a tutor to help our son with reading. Thank you for coming up with a new and exciting program!!!
An online curriculum would be such a blessing. Not only would it help to hold the interest of restless boys but it would be like having an assistant to oversee there work. We’ve been waiting! When I ran across the AOP webite advetising the new online curriculum i was curious. I started reading the other comments left and was excited about the prospect of opening a new door of learing for my new adopted daughter.
To foster a new way of doing things and to help realize there is a whole new way ot thinking out there. Monarch would be a great marriage of Christian curriculum and self-paced online learning! I have an only son who is This would be a great curriculum to use for him as we are on the go a lot. It would allow him to stay on track when we are away from home.
Sounds like an awesome program. Thank you. I have 2 teenage sons My oldest has severe learning disabilities which requires most of my time one on one. This leaves my youngest without enough attention and help. I don’t want him to have a sub-par highschool education because of this, so I am hoping to put him in a curriculum like this, so he can have something all his own away from his brother. Also, the portablility sounds great since both my husband and I have aging parents hours away who at any given time need help.
He could school on the road. We have been using SOS with great results. The ease of being able to do school work from any computer, anywhere would be great. Thanks for offering such great Christian-based curriculum. My son prefers computer learning to textbooks. I love that the new curriculum can be accessed on our Mac laptop so it can go anywhere!
This last year my daughter came to me and said she wanted to do school online. After looking and doing some asking we were sure we wanted to do switched on schoolhouse. We were both very excited. When I called to place my order I was told this curriculum was not mac compatible. We were so disappointed. I was actually getting ready to place an order just a few weeks ago for next years school when I received a call from AOP.
I told her why we had decided to not go with switched on schoolhouse and she was quick to tell me all about Monarch. This was very exciting news! Needless to say we have held off on placing any orders waiting anxiously for the monarch to come out :. I am so excited about this curriculum! My younger children have been doing a supplimental program that is multimedia this year. They love it and beg daily to “do their computer work”.
Watching videos, clips, and playing application games just brings home what they have been studying in the normal curriculum. We have always used Alpha omega and Horizens curriculum so we know this will be an excellant program and look forward to using it. I love that all of this will be in one curriculum.
I would love to give it a try because we have a small business and our children end up at our work place quite a bit and their book end up left there; or they cannot take the desk top with them which is where their SOS is. This would be great to have access from our work environment or virtually anywhere for them to do thier assignment like grandmas or the doctors office. Thanks for trying to bring us the most up to date options for our children.
My 7th grade son uses the SOS program with 2 of his subjects and he has greatly benefited from them. This is our 1st year of homeschooling and I have parents coming out of the wood work asking me how to get started. I always point them to your web site and to your cirriculm 1st! The Godly thread through out your programs has truly made a difference in my son and the rest of our family!
To win this program would help us financially My husband works during the day and helps with math at night while I go to work. We wouldn’t have it any other way.
Easier is always nice but God has called us to do this and we do it with joy! If anyone is trying to use the retweet button to enter via Twitter, we realize there’s an issue with it and we’re doing our best to fix the issue. Thanks so much for your patience with us. I would LOVE to use this curriculum with my son because we are always headed out of state for my daughters medical and instead of carrying 5 Lifepac boxes with me, it will just be a lot easier. Plus, when our daughter was diagnosed, the Lord always sent us “Butterflies” as a reminder that she is going to get out of this!!!
It would be nice not to have to worry about my computer crashing and losing all of my son’s schoolwork information. This is our first year homeschooling and so far it has been awesome.
God has truly worked many miracles. Finding ways to teach our three kids easier would be a complete blessing. My husband and I are working towards being ordained ministers and having a curriculum that is user friendly for the kids and us would be a huge blessing for our family. My son really needs new and exciting things to help him in his learning and this would be great for him.
Whatever God’s will is, let it be done! I am a homeschool mother of four children spanning elementary, middle and high school.
We are very proud of what we do and are committed to doing what it takes to ensure that kids will have the opportunities they need to answer God’s call on their life.
However, it sometimes feels my children are short-changed as a result of the demands of this business – they generally spend their day along side of me. They have made a lot of friends, but our “homeschooling” is lacking primarily as a result of the logistics associated with hauling books, manipulatives and everything else with us each day.
With the computers available at our facility, each of my children would be able to take breaks from time to time to complete lessons without hauling half the house out with us. We have had the opportunity to use Horizons and SoS and would be thrilled to have this kind of material so easily available to us – we can’t wait to incorporate this curriculum in our schooling!
Monarch will enable us to seamlessly continue our children’s education regardless of our upcoming military move, or if the children and I have to make an urgent short term move back to Australia for family medical reasons. This October we transfer yet again and the schooling texts will be packed in shipments causing a 2 — 3 month delay in their schooling. A short term move back to Australia would be worse as we could not take all their schooling with us due to luggage weight restrictions.
Without Monarch our children’s education would be in limbo. This would be a blessing as it would lend to our committment to get out of debt.
We have six children and even homeschooling can cost greatly. I’ve used SOS in the past and loved it. Was considering using it again, but was thrilled to learn about this new program you’re coming out with.
Can’t wait to learn more and find out if I’ve won. I’m always looking for ways to bring our schooling into the 21st century. This sounds like a great idea. Thanks for the opportunity to win! I’d like to use Monarch because we love SOS but I have a time getting everything installed on various computers so the boys don’t have to wait to use it.
It’s a great program and Monarch will make it even more mobile. We are excited that Monarch is compatible with any web browser, It is exciting to know that wherever we are– at home, on vacation, or halfway around the world, we can homeschool anywhere by simply logging in online!
Our son will love the cutting-edge, media-rich lessons that are infused with movie clips, animations, learning games, audio clips, and web-related links!
I’m actually a rep for another popular curriculum publisher and use it with my 8 homeschooled children. I’m seriously considering this new program for him.
I’ve used online suppliments for him in the past and he has really done well with them. This is the first affordable option I’ve seen introduced.
Congrats AOP on this new launch! My daughter loves everything about the computer. We currently use SOS and she loves it, but the cd-roms are installed on our old desktop computer. My daughter is always asking me to do SOS on my laptop, but while at home I need to use my laptop on a daily basis. The Monarch curriculum sounds great! Being unemployed for several months ; and just recently getting part time work and trying to catch up with bills; winning Monarch would be a blessing to our family.
We haven’t yet purchased next years program and we are switching from what we are using today. I wanted soemthng more interactive, and easy to take with us on the go. We have been waiting for an affordable web-based curriculum ever since moving from another state that provided public online school.
It’s exciting because it’s Christian based, Mac compatible! My kids are begging me to use a computer based curriculum. My children spend time with their grandparents one to two days each week and use multiple computers.
Something online would work great for us! My kids are visual learners and the multimedia aspects would be perfect! Monarch would allow us to do this. SOS was the only reason we bought PC’s! With much excitement, we are planning a year-long mission trip. The Monarch curriculum has alleviated the obvious issue of lugging heavy books in our backpacks and suitcases which is such a great blessing. In addition, this new learning tool will provide my children with the at-your-fingertips availability essential for our journey abroad.
Teaching time-management and technology skills, this hassle-free program will undoubtedly provide the quality learning experience necessary for students today. Alpha Omega’s Monarch curriculum will also ease any boredom issues by captivating their attention with interactive lessons. Thank you AOP! It would also help in the financial area to not have to pay for one of my six children’s school needs.
BTW, I tried already to follow the link to retweet this, but it isn’t working. I did tweet about it by going directly to twitter and I used aopmonarch so that you could verify that. This would be absolutely wonderful for my son. He has an extremely hard time sitting down and doing his textbooks. He loves anything on the computer. I believe that would motivate him enough to get his work done and be happy about doing his work.
Also, When I have appointment and other things that need to be done during the day. All we have to do is bring the laptop with so he can do his schoolwork anywhere instead of lugging all of those books with us. I can always be assured that my son’s school work would be close at hand.
How convenient now that I wouldn’t have to carry books and workbooks and reading books and teacher’s guides. Plus, how much more interesting this would be for my son Every year I consider putting my kids back in school because I get so overwhelmed with all of the options and I feel like there’s no continuity in their schooling my fault.
We’ve wanted to try a complete curriculum for a few years now, but we haven’t felt comfortable spending so much money without really knowing how it would work. My oldest daughter will be in 5th grade next year and we’d love to find something we could just stick with and then do basically the same thing but updated over the years, since it’s online- that’s so great as our younger three follow.
It would be such peace of mind to find something we don’t have to make major decisions about every year. The fact that it is online is perfect. So many times I’ll plan on having them do schoolwork other places, only to have forgotten one important thing. Anyhow, thanks for offering this. It sounds really promising. We’ve been home schooling our daughter for the past few years and she is thriving! Since I lost my job a while back and still have not been able to find another one, winning this new program would be such a great help to us for the next school year.
For her to be able to do her school work from practically anywhere without taking all her books along with us would be the icing on the cake. Thank you for creating what sounds like a wonderful curriculum! My son loves to play video games and doing things on the computer and internet. If he goes on line to do his school work he won’t think of it so much as work but fun to get online and do some school.
I am sure this is going to make a huge difference in the way he thinks about school and may even start to go above and beyond what is expected. I have 3 children my youngest a boy has pdd-nos which is a autism spectrum disorder. I used the Lifepack curiculum when we had really difficult times with the school system.
Now I find myself in a similar situation with my oldest daughter. She is a beautifull child of God but the publlic schoolsystem is not the most appropriate for the chalenging times a 13 year old can be faced with this day. She loves to play soccer. I would love to offer this curiculum to her, but I pray that whoever God has chosen to winn this curiculum would also receive it.
With all my heart I pray my the Lord bless the family he sees fitt to receive this blessing. God bless. Snezana Robertson. My family is planning on changing curriculum next school year and had planned on switching to the Lifepacs anyway but this would work out great as well.
The program we are in now is just way to expensive and the cost for even this new program is about a third of what we pad for this years courses for our daughter. We just have not been very happy with the current curriculum we have and really could use a change and have heard great things about your company. I am disabled as well and my husband doesn’t make much money so this would be a great solution to our financial situation as well. We will do without whatever we have to so that she never has to go back into our local public school again because it is so bad.
I will never put her back into that situation again and feel guilty that it took me until the 5th grade to get her out of there. Please consider helping our family out by awarding us with this wonderful gift!! Thanks so much!
I have always wished the SOS was more ‘mobile’ and that I could check their work from any computer. I think Monarch will really fit that need. I just started using SOS this year and love it. My kids also love it. It is such a nice change from the same old text books. I like the fact the the kids are using the computer for the curriculum to help them get familiar with the computer, since computers are a huge part in todays society.
I would love to try out this new Monarch curriculum. Winning isn’t everything but it sure is fun! It would be “scriptural” as one would be excercising good stewardship by avoiding more cost for curriculum. I would love to be able to have one of my eight children “pilot” the new program to rate it’s effectiveness overall.
Thank you for coming up with the idea. Alpha Omega provides excellent curriculum at a low cost. Now you have taken your service to a new level. Monarch could possibly be the only choice better than Switched On Schoolhouse – bring it on – we can’t wait!!! We have chosen to homeschool my teenage son because it is best for him.
Reading about Monarch, I feel this is a better choice for our situation. I am excited to explore this new curriculum. As a homeschooling mother of 3, Monarch seems to be a wonderful way to allow my children to have some of the extra help they need by using the online curriculum. I can’t always give them this extra one on one time because of the age differences. This way they are all getting individualized instruction and I have more time to work with each of them in the areas they are struggling.
Online is fabulous! It would always have the most up to date information. I’m disabled and homeschooling my 11 year old and 10 year old also my 2 year old who is ready to sit down and work on things too.
We are getting by on our tiny disability check. My children enjoy working at their own pace so much, but their pace causes them to zoom through curriculum. We are constantly trying to find more things for them to do. They are both very proficient on the computer and I think it would be great for them. The cost does concern me and I can’t wait to find out more information. Had I known that this program was coming I would have waited on purchasing next year’s curriculum. You see, we just bought Switched On Schoolhouse, but I would have preferred the totally online program.
My daughter loves working on the computer and this would be easier than installing all the disks on the computer. It would be great if they could access their work from anywhere. Thanks and God Bless. I love the freedom of the SOS, but during the middle of the year our computer crashed and I had to transfer everything to a new computer.
Now I am having trouble with that computer. It would be great to have everything online stored so I don’t have to transfer everything all the time.
Makes it more flexible to use since we are not at home all the time. I think a Christian Curriculum online would be awesome! It would be great to access it anywhere I just started homeschooling my very bright 12 year old this year. I want him to be challenged and taught Biblical principles. He does not get that in our public schools. I purchased the AOP LIfePac series for 6th grade to give us a staring point and I see now where my son could use a curriculum that is more technically savvy and engaging.
He is basically on his own as I work from home and I think the Monarch program would be perfect for him with the up to date information and interactive capabilities. As a new homeschool family, We are finding that the flexibility is awesome. I would love to be able to allow my computer kid to use the computer for better things than he is now.
I would love you new program. Be Blessed. I currently use SOS for my three kids and we have really enjoyed it! However, there are many times that I have to go to doctors appointments and my kids have to stay with my parents and because we network our computers together, they can’t take their work with them because the base computer is at the house.
I think this online style would really benefit my family! My older daughter tried an online public school this year and loved the the independence it gave her while I taught the younger girls but we have so been longing for a Christian curriculum that we could afford! What an awesome opportunity to try your new product! Winning this would give me the opportunity to get my kids out of public school and into homeschooling. I would love to try. I want to use Monarch curriculum so that we will have the flexibility of schooling wherever we are.
I also think that the games, movie clips and other media would keep my son more interested than other curricula would. We have been using SOS for 4 years, and it helps us to keep to a schedule. It is also an excellent academic curriculum.
I may have to begin teaching more hours outside our home, and the new Monarch curriculum would enable my two high school sons to work in the library at the college where I could check on them between classes. My child gets bored easily. The computer is the center of his world at this age and the Monarch curriculum sounds like it would be such a blessing to him. I believe it would make school interesting for him again. Also, my husband has been overseas for the second year now and may be over there for another year yet.
If so, we plan to go and join him. I think the Monarch online curriculum would be perfect for that since I don’t know how easy it would be to purchase any texts or worktexts or workbooks or reading books in the Middle East.
We recently traveled to SC for a family funeral. We needed the routine of school for the difficult time and length of our stay. It was a long ordeal to get our curriculum up and running there. Just thinking about the ease of being able to log into the curriculum no matter the season or where He leads is a balm to our committed homeschool hearts.
We would love the flexibility of online learning. We have done LifePac this year and we can take it anywhere! Kids today need to know how to use a computer, so Monarch is setting up our kids for successful futures! We are using the Lifepacs, and I enjoy that my kids can do them independently. But something interactive online would engage them more. They would love it! I have home schooled my son, had him spend and year in public school and now finally he is in a private school.
Both public and private school have not helped him. I want to try Monarch because it is belief based and because I feel that it would give me the structure and compassion that my son needs to succeed and progress in his education. Monarch sounds great, so we could school on any computer that is working! What about an APP for the iphone or ipod touch?
Our family is very technologically oriented and regularly traveling in a variety of locations and I have to say that we have gone through several computers since starting and every time we have to find the software and reinstall it seems we have run into some kind of difficulty. There have even been times we were delayed by months while trying to get everything put back together and recover from where we last were. The Monarch system sounds like it would really help us with those problems as well as provide us with very up to date curriculum.
The best of both worlds! I would love to try the Monarch curriculum because I have two boys that would enjoy the multi-media, clips, etc to keep their attention and make homeschooling more interesting. I think it is great to give my boys an added advantage of the latest technology and exposure to many new things. I can’t afford to buy the curriculum for my boys, so the blessing of curriculum would be a tremendous!
We have been in full time ministry for 6 years. A program like Monarch would be an outrageous blessing for our family. To have the ability to have instant availability to our homeschool material through the internet would be awesome!
I couldn’t imagine not having to pack and unpack homeschool materials! We have 2 suitcases dedicated just to Homeschooling. To quote the way you are advertising this curriculum, “Whether you’re at home, on vacation, or halfway around the world, you can homeschool anywhere by simply logging in online! We currently use Lifepacs, but I believe my daughter is becoming more drawn to technology and this would be a perfect opportunity for her to expand beyond books. My younger students bounce between our house and another homeschooling family I have the older kids centralized for administration with SOS, which is nice, but the girls have to have everything on their computer so they can go back and forth.
This would be perfect to solve my problem. And it would be awesome to be able to travel or go places and just be able to log in and keep up with work.
As much as we like SOS, the mobility of online is just the way to go. To be able to use it anywhere and not have to install anything or to have it only on one computer is the best thing ever! You have answered all of my prayers for curriculum!!!! Our family of 5 kids embraces technology, so we THANK Monarch for deciding to unleash a Christian online course that once again proves why homeschooling is your best option!!!
You have an open schedule, flexibility and we can continue to update our computer skills I would like to use Monarch curriculum because of the flexibility it offers, the base of homeschooling is to tailor the education to each of my kids needs, this not only means material but also time – we separate to educate them. Thus with Monarch curriculum with Mac and Windows compatibility and been a log in based service, there is no hassle that we forget a book, copy, etc we just logged in wherever we might need to be to educate them.
Great idea. Homeschooling 5 children is a great challenge. I am always thankful for the opportunity to teach my children in a format that is not overbearing and tedious. So I know that I would love this. We have used Lifepacs and SOS in the past with great success. I am looking forward to a curriculum that will easily travel with us. I have a 7, 6, 4, 2, and 1 year old. We have always planned on home schooling our kids We have been using the 2nd grade Life Pacs this year.
I do like them okay, but I have wanted to give up on home schooling so many times this year. With the other small children I just feel like I can’t stay on top of the schooling.
I’m looking to try any other options that might make it all a little less stressful with our very busy life. I have home schooled my children for the last 11 years.
I have used your SOS curriculum for the last 4 years. I really enjoy teaching with your products. My daughter has Dyslexia and Auditory Processing Issues and I have been able to modify your curriculum for her to understand and be successful.
As of this year she is working in the 9th grade SOS, which is 1 year ahead of her school age. My 6th grader is working in the 7th grade SOS and my 11th grader is working on some of the subjects. I would like to use Monarch because I believe in the quality that Alpha Omega puts into their curriculum and know that my children would benefit from the extra enrichment that Monarch offers. Thank you so much for this opportunity. I can’t wait to try AOP Monarch! This is our first year using Switched On Schoolhouse.
My son loves to use the computer for his school work. We love the SOS curriculum and I think it would be great to be able to do school from anywhere. We spend a lot of time at the hospital and waiting on doctors. Connecting to the curriculum online wherever we have wi-fi would make his life much easier! Also being able to choose when to work on school is very important to him. I want the best for my son and AOPMonarch looks exactly like what we are looking for.
I also have older children one serving in Mexico and another a distance away we visit often. I feel at times my son just gets lost with all the stopping and started up again. This would be so helpful to assure he is still keeping on track with his work. I can’t wait to have the kids try this.
We joined a virtual academy this year and it is not working out for our three kids. We were planning to go back to SOS anyway, so were excited to read about this. We are now entering the high school phase and with technology increasing its foothold everyday on children, I feel this would best prepare my children for that increased foothold as well as teach them to be independent workers and self-regulating young adults.
We currently use lifepacs as well as SOS Spanish. We are computer people, kids love to play on their computer what a wonderful way to incorporate their schooltime without the hassle of loading cds Can’t wait to try it. I think it will make life easier for any family. This is my third year homeschooling, and we’ve done Alpha Omega every year. This year we were going to try SOS. I was just a little apprehensive about the whole computer thing, because computers and I don’t always get along.
I think this new one would be much better, and I love that we could do it from any computer. It would also be a tremendous help financially because I have 3 different aged children and would only have to buy 2 more.
It would be a huge blessing from the Lord! I home school my son because I knew he would have issues with a public school setting of traditional teaching and sitting perfectly still. He loves computers, and now that he might be able to do his lessons from a computer would be right up his alley! Also, since we like to travel this would be a great benefit. It would be great to try Monarch as well. This also would allow them to use different computers Way to go AOP!
Another great idea! We had two laptops die this past year, so we finally bought our daughter a new desk top. This meant I had to export her work and reinstall SOS three times in as many months! Online access would definitely eliminate the need for annual installation or re-installation! The increased multimedia features sound like a fun addition for my 10th grade student who already loves SOS.
We are in the process of foster-adopting a second daughter, so I was encouraged by Kimberli R’s comments that SOS can accommodate a child with special needs. As a single, working, homeschooling mom of 3, this would be perfect for my children to partake in. They use SOS now and love it, but are often unable to come to my job with me because there is no way for them to continue doing their school work as well.
Being able to do it from any computer would be perfect for us and still allow me to have some time with them, even though I have to work full time outside of the home. This will be my first year homeschooling. I’m a little nervous but I’m feeling better about it knowing that there are products out there like yours that can help me through this. My daughter will be going in the 4th grade and I think this product will help her gain some independence and allow me some time teaching my preschooler.
We ould be able to travel and keep up with our lesson plans instead of filling in with worksheets. I LOVE this idea!! We love using SOS but it does tie us down to the computer it is installed on. This would be so awesome to be able to do it from anywhere! With out having to load cd’s and back up! I love the way they are self paced and independent on their lessons!
Monarch can only be an improvement. With computers and technology being the way of the future, this is great! We love SOS and would love to try Monarch! We have used SOS for many years. I love the idea of having everything online! It would be much easier to keep from losing completed material in the event of computer problems. Monarch seems like the perfect upgrade to make the home-schooling process even more convenient. We can’t wait to get it!!! I have not started homeschooling my children yet, but I am in the process of getting it going.
I think being able to work on school work online and take it where ever you go is a great idea! It would free you up to get out there and really learn hands on. It would be so great to win this free year because I have really been nervous about jumping into homeschooling.
This would give me just the push I need. I’ve been homeschooling my daughter now for the last 7 yrs. For some reason unknown to me, I let someone talk me into trying a different curriculum this yr.
This is great!! I have six kids. With SOS it gives me freedom! I don’t have to bring all the books when we go somewhere. I also have two kids with disabilities. They both have issues with reading, but excell with computer programs! One thing I love most about SOS is that it reads out loud if needed! Frees up time for me to help other kids and lets them feel like they are doing their own school by themselves! This curriculum would make it easier to be able to do the homeschooling away from home which is something I have wanted since I started homeschooling in with the SOS.
We would love to use the Monarch Curriculum because we will soon have 5 children in school grades K thru 7 and traditional textbook curricula take way too much time to prep lessons and do grading! I’ve home schooled for years but last year was my first with SOS.
The two biggest frustrations I’ve had are lack of mobility- he can’t take his school with him when we have ‘town’ days- and losing a full semester’s work when my computer crashed. Having the schooling online would solve those two issues- both of which had caused me to question whether I would continue with SOS this coming school year.
The final ‘seller’ would be that it’s up-to-date. Nothing seems so useless as teaching old info. Sam, 13, has thrived in the immediate feed-back environment of Switched on Schoolhouse and Liv, 8, has no more tears over messy corrections on her papers, allowing her to focus on what is most important – learning new things!
Now Monarch takes all of the great advantages of Switched on Schoolhouse and makes them available virtually anywhere! Monarch gives learning wings! Four out of my five children use SOS and next year the fifth will start. We have really enjoyed the program but the kids complain when they have to wait for the available computer that their program is downloaded on because a sibling is on it.
It would be great to be able to utilize all our computers including our new Mac. Sound like AOP’s Monarch would be a good fit in our home. This is my second year of homeschooling my 11 year old son who struggles with Math especially. He is very much a “hands on” learner, and the handed down used books we use and the dreaded workbooks are getting boring and my son is losing interest.
I have looked at AOP products for 2 years now, and wishing we could invest in your curriculum, but we can never seem to get the money together. The Monarch Curriculum sounds so wonderful, and my son feels it’s just what he needs to help bring him back up to speed.
Please consider us. I think I would be able to get my son up to grade level with this curriculum. Monarch sounds like the most up-to-date curriculum in a format that is engaging for the kids. They have been begging me to go back to “doing school” on the computer. And with all of my responsibilities now, I am overwhelmed. This would help me out tremendously!
And it is something that I’m sure I will be recommending to not only my social network, but to all of my homeschooling friends and family as well!
We would love the Monarch Curriculum because of its portability! Any computer, any time, any where!? Oh yeah, bring it on AOP!! It makes schooling rather slow for everyone to wait for the computer the disks are installed on. Can’t wait til May to check this out at our home school conference!
I am a homeschooling mom of 4 children 1 has graduated. My 3 younger children are 9 year old twins and a 8 year old. I have been very hands on with them so far, but I may have to have major surgery in the next year on my spine that could take months to recover from.
So, I will be needing something they can do on their own, with minimal help from me. I have actually postponed surgery indefinitely because I feel being with the children is more important.
I also think it would be fantastic for my ADHD 8 yr old who already loves the computer. I think that this would be great for my children who LOVE to be on the computer!! Unfortunately they have to wait ‘til the computer is free to do their work on the one computer that has the disks installed on it. To be able to sign on where ever we may be traveling would be fantastic!!
Our extended family would love to help in the role of educating our children. The ability to have all of the same resources available for everyone would be a great benefit. And the ease of transportation for the children would be wonderful. This is just the kind of curriculum my kids have been waiting for!
It pairs engaging, online multi-media content with the core subjects we really want our children to have: the Bible, history and geography, language arts, math, and science– plus, with 35 electives available, there is sure to be something special for each child! I think it is a great idea. I liked the idea of using the cd’s over and over for my children. I was wondering if you can do the same with this program. If so then it will be great not to be tied down to one computer but to any computer.
I think that the freedom of knowing that my highschool students won’t be bound to one computer, or even to being at home meaning, they can stay at Gramma’s house and still be able to do school without the excuse “oh, I forgot this or that book I need!
I believe that learning to work in an online situation is definately embracing the 21st Century in our education, and trains them for the reality of most jobs where work requires to be accessed from all over.
I am a single mom of three special needs children. My children are all on the autism scale and find traditional approaches to learning somewhat challenging. My daughter, age 7, struggles with standard rapid fire public school classroom direction despite being academically gifted due to processing challenges, and i am going to homeschool her this next year. I have just had brain surgery and it makes me realize just how difficult it is to homeschool a child using mainly mom-provided or tradional hard copy tools when mom is less available than usual!!
As a true Christian, I do not like the way that they teach creation and how they take God out of the schools. I think that the Monarch learning system would be the perfect combination of God, good learning, and the computer.
The computer is easy to navigate through so the Monarch learning system would be a snap. Currently I am doing the LifePack series. The computer will be more interactive, more fun, and simple! We are seriously considering switching to an computer generated curriculum. AOP is always a trusted source. Monarch on-line could fill our needs to educate, according to our God-given conscience, beautifully! I love the SOS program, and to have it be able to go with us, when we need to be somewhere, would be absolutely wonderful.
To be able to use my Mac and its browser would just make my school year. My girls have enjoyed school so much this year, away from the schedules of public school, and they have grown emotionally as well. I can’t believe it! AOP has has done it again! I have been useing Lifepacs and Switched on School House for years with my 5 children and love them both. But this is going to be absolutly Fantastic!! No more storing books and CD’s on shelves that just don’t have any more room.
I was considering looking for an online program for next year and now I don’t need to look any further. I would love to try a new curriculum! My children would LOVE a break from the norm textbooks, traditional teaching! Unfortunately, I’m not able to afford curricula like Monarch and SOS, so trying a curriculum like Monarch is not an option for my children. It’s wearying to try to remember what books I have to return to whom!
My son finds anything to do with computers motivating and I find the chance to have an online curriculum motivating. Having both in one place would be a blessing. We are a military family always on the move! We enjoyed SOS and Lifepacs and are looking for something that combines God’s word into learning in a fun, 21st century way! With 3 at home, Monarch sounds like a wonderful innovative approach for my computer saavy children!
Having everything in one place and accessible from anywhere would ease some of my worry over our first High School year. I would love the Monarch system of homeschooling for my rising 4th grader and kindergartener! It’s interactive, modern, and fun — 3 key ingredients to keep the attention of my antsy, technologically-advanced children! And best of all, it’s Biblical instruction woven into all subjects will help my children become well-rounded disciples!
Winning this free subscription will also be a great financial blessing, as I am a single mother who recently gave up full-time employment to complete my education and to establish a Biblical foundation in the lives of my children. Thanks in advance for your consideration!
I have been nervous to try online school so this would be the perfect opportunity to give it a try. We have 2 homes and we are lucky enough to have 2 sets of Grandparents with homes on lakes. Needless to say, we are never in one place! This curriculum is just what we need! We have always been a fan of AOP materials. This monarch curriculum sounds exciting and flexible. We currently are using SOS but downloading the cds have always been a challenge. Having an multi-dimensional online sounds great, that way we can still do school while doing life as well.
My kids love being on the computer, so for them to be able to do schoolwork on the computer even at grandmas house woud be great! I think they would be more excited to do their schoolwork just for the shear fact they get to use the computer.
We already enjoy SOS, but would be thrilled to use a completely online curriculum. We travel frequently and would enjoy the convenience of this application, Thank you! As a military family with four kids one set of twins , the expenses of curriculum can be a struggle. LifePacs have been a Godsend, especially in my older boys, who are learning to work independently. This curriculum sounds like something we would both enjoy and find really useful.
Thanks for this opportunity. We are already using SOS and the kids absolutely love it. However, if we could use a curriculum that is totally available online it would be marvelous. We travel a lot and this would be a life saver. We also have PC and Mac computers so being able to use on either one would be fantastic.
I am so very excited at the opportunity to win a quality curriculum that my son will love. My middle-school aged son was traumatized by his learning experience in the public school system – he suffers with dysgraphia and mild dyslexia not to mention serious food allergies – so considers “school” and learning a painful chore. I have struggled with finding an affordable curriculum that offers quality and consistency that my will motivate my son and restore the excitement of learning.
I am sure the Monarch curriculum will deliver the Christian-based learning and motivation that my intelligent child needs, and become an affordable option for us to continue for the remainder of his school years. Thanks AOP for all the hard work!
This year we ended up having to take a couple of unexpected trips out of state and there were also times we had to leave our house in the middle of our school day because we were trying to sell our house. In order to keep them on track, I had to print each lesson and the questions, then type in all the answers once we returned home. This experience has shown me the value in using an online curriculum that we can use from any computer.
I am currently homeschooling 8 kids, and they all have different learning styles, and motivations for learning. My husband travels for work, and we are involved in church ministries.
I have used SOS and Lifepacks as the main curriculum. I am always looking for supplements to give my children others avenues to learn. This souds great. I have been using SOS to homeschool my two children for the past two years. My husband is in the computer industry, and we are both impressed with the level of committment to ensure our kids are part of the forefront of technology as well! The option of web-enabled capability expands our schoolhouse to the world!! As a military family we move a lot and sometimes don’t have the ability to bring all our books while traveling to our new destination.
The monarch Curriculum would really help me make sure that no matter where we’re at my kids schooling is there and that nothing gets lost during travel ttime.
AOP’s Monarch online sounds wonderfull. My children are both ADD and learn better visual. They feel that “on the computer” curriculum is more fun and actually look forward to their subjects!
Monarch sounds like it would hold their attention and utilize their time so they will retain the knowledge they get from it. And knowing it’s from AOP and is biblically based makes it a hit with me.
I have been using SOS for for 2 years. My son has a hard time with learning so it has helped him so much. It would be great to be able to use it anywhere. We also travel alot, what a great idea and affordable. I have been using an online curriculum for my youngest two children and textbooks and workbooks for my oldest two children because I cannot find a curriculum that covers all the grades. The idea that I can have an interactive, online curriculum that is continuous for all my children is wonderful!
This is a wonderful way to not only educate my children, but teach them how to use current technology and give them skills they can use in their careers. We are constantly on the go. So being able to school work anytime, any where and from any computer will be a God send. It will be great not having to lug a huge backpack around!
I have been homeschooling for 3 years and have 3 children. Of course, despite all the benefits of homeschooling, there is no homeschool guarantee. Kids are kids, and some kids who go to school have challenges, just as some kids who homeschool have challenges. There are thousands upon thousands of homeschoolers around the world, and their homeschooling experiences and outcomes vary, just as happens with children who are enrolled in schools.
It’s also possible to homeschool poorly, though perceptions of what good homeschooling looks like may be uninformed or inaccurate.
One of the advantages of homeschooling that people forget about is that you can quit homeschooling if it doesn’t work for your family. While homeschooling is not for every family, people from all walks of life in many different circumstances have found ways to incorporate the benefits of homeschooling into their lives.
